I reported last week that the Tennessee Volunteers will put up a billboard in Florida.
Now, it appears that the location has been leaked and the sign will appear in Fort Lauderdale, just outside of Boyd Anderson High School.
Interestingly enough, there are several rumors now surfacing that Tennessee is pushing hard to land current Florida Gators commit Demar Dorsey, who plays at Boyd Anderson. Dorsey is heading into his senior season as a cornerback at Boyd Anderson.
Like I said in the article last week, I really think the Gators could benefit from putting up their own sign a few hundred feet down the road, or right across the street. After all, a Florida Gators sign could easily dwarf anything Tennessee could possibly put up.
Look no further than this hilarious billboard exchange between car dealers Audi and BMW. Audi first put up their sign, challenging BMW. Within weeks, BMW had put up their own huge sign right next to it. Have a look for yourself. Here's the Audi sign:
And BMW's hilariously dominant response:
Here are the two signs next to each other:
You tell me which advertisement would steal your attention.
Maybe it's time for Urban Meyer to take a page out of BMW's playbook.
